Pausing live tv
Having trouble pausing live tv for more than 5 minutes with my TV360 box.
Pretty sure I was able to pause the TiVo and V6 for around an hour?
Am I doing something wrong?

No you're doing nothing wrong, it's part of the 360 downgrade.
Ok - thanks. So you basically have to record any live program you might want to pause.
To be honest if I knew just how poor the TV360 was compared to V6 I never would have bothered taking the free "upgrade".
I mistakenly made the so called upgrade but after i threatened to leave they sent me a v6 box so I'm back on that.
Even the 360 remote is a nightmare with mt disability. Almost inoperable to me.
Any swap outs like this will be rare now. VM have a diminishing number of Arris manufactured boxes capable of being loaded with TiVO firmware for fault replacements. They are able to refurb these boxes until spares run out, but when they do that's it. The new Humax & next gen Arris boxes only run Horizon 360.
Even production of the new boxes will stop in the near future, as VMs new all fibre networks won't support them.
Which 360 box are you having problems with, a 360 main box or a 360 mini box, main box is on the left and mini box on the right. You should probably be able to pause for 3 hours on the main box (although I haven't tried), because you can rewind live TV back that far or further.
The mini box doesn't have a hard so can only buffer for a few minutes, depending on the format SD, HD or UHD determines the time it will buffer, to pause for longer you need to press record so it uses the 360 main box hard drive and then watch as a recording.
