Netflix Crashing V6 Box

I keep having issues loading Netflix on my V6 Box. Sometimes it will load with no issues. Sometimes it will load after a long load time. But most of the time (i would say 2/3) it will crash my V6 box. It will stick on the load screen for a full minute or two and then will switch off my V6 box. The only way to turn the box back on after this is to switch off the box, either at the plug or via the switch on the back of the box. One other odd thing though is when i go to launch either Prime or Disney+ the Netflix logo screen will briefly pop up on screen before connecting to the right app. Just to add, there is no issue with Netflix working on my second box upstairs, small box dont know what its called. Any help or suggestions welcome. Thanks

    Hi Yachuno

I've moved your post to the 360 forum.

You've mentioned the netflix problem is occuring on your V6 box, however you also mention the Disney+ app. The Disney+ app isn't available on V6 boxes, only on the newer TV360 and Stream boxes.

You can only have one Stream box per household, so it sounds like you actually have a TV360 box, and a smaller TV360 mini box.

You could try factory resetting the main (larger) 360 box.

To factory reset go to Settings (the cog at the end of the Home menu) > System > Factory Reset. It's actually misnamed and only a partial system reset and not a complete factory reset. You are given 2 options

    Keep Recordings
    Format Disk

Choose Keep Recordings, that means you won't lose your recordings and any planned recordings or series links you've set up. You will have to sign into your apps such as iPlayer, Prime, Netflix and ITVX again. Also Match frame rate and Standby power consumption will go back to their default settings if you have changed them.

Thanks. Yeah you’re right it is the TV360 box. Thanks for your advice, So i did the reset. No joy i’m afraid. Just tried to open Netflix and it got stuck on the Netflix logo screen. Tried to back out only for the logo to remain on screen while i could hear normal channels in the background. I was able to change channels, pause, rewind etc with just the Netflix logo on screen. Turned off the box via the remote which then crashed the box and required switching on and off at the switch again to get back on.

        Hi again Yachuno

You coulkd try the following on the box with the netflix issues.

Go to Home > Settings > Audio & Video >  Match Frame Rate > set  'match frame rate'  to Off if it's set to On
