Live tv picture pixalating

Last night when I wanted to watch late night news the picture was only visible in the top right hand corner and that was pixalated (I think that's the word)

But it turned out that an earlier programme I had recorded was okay.

My internet connection was fine, and computer not having any problems.

It seems to be okay today, but wonder if it indicated a problem with my 360 box.

Or was there an issue in the area - east London?

The check that I ran from the VM web site was relevant as it was just about checking the connection.

Anyone else have this problem or should I ask for a new box.

Thanks

  • Which channel was the late night news on and was this the only channel with the problem, I guess you did switch channel to see if the problem was only on the one channel.

Yes should have explained. I meant I turned on to watch the news and it was as described, so then I went to various channels and all the same problem.

And didn't mentioned that the sound was also distorted.

      The programme guide displayed properly.

And surprisingly a programme taped earlier was fine.

I wonder if because it was after mid night, whether in fact they were doing some sort of work on the network.

But if it is a known sign of a 360 box starting to have problems.

      Thanks

Hi hackneyuser thanks for posting and welcome back to our community.

Sorry to hear you've been having pixelaton issues when attempting to watch TV on your 360 box. As your post appears to be "past tense" are there still issues? Or has it cleared up? Please get back to me if you require assistance in resolving this issue.
