How do I access Sky sports SD?

I only see HD channels, but want to record SD.  How can I do this?

You've hit on another of the differences between V6 & TV360.

TV360 employs an HD-swap, whereby it only offers the HD version of a channel where available. If you subscribe to Sky Sports HD, then those channels are available in EPG 501-510 (plus 520 for tennis).

If you don't, then those same EPG positions carry the SD versions.

Note that the switch from MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 a few years ago means, amongst other things, that recordings take up less space than before.

  • If you are subscribed to Sky Sports HD you will not be able to see Sky Sports SD channels with the 360 all SD channels get replaced by the HD versions if included in your package.

Edited to say maybe it's because I am in Greece but when I looked it said it said you hadn't had any replies.

If it's pixelated then report a fault.

  • I believe that Sky are due to shut down all their SD channels within the next few weeks.
