Error message saying I have to many devices connected

flashes up saying i have to many devices connected when watching recordings on my box upstairs it is fine downstairs then starts buffering  it has a  wireless connection Upstairs i have 1gig broadband this has only just started a few days ago never had any problems and the same no of devices connected any help would be apprecated

  • but can just can change to ethernet which is not possible and shouldn't have to anyway 

     

  • since last week i have not been able to watch recordings on my upstairs box keeps buffering box its fine downstairs screen flashes up saying to many devices connected i have 1 gig broadband tried factory reset on the box upstairs no difference rebooted hub etc the box is wireless upstairs which it has been for a long time with no issues i have disconnected all devices but still the same problem 

    any help would be appreciated

      Did you turn both boxes off and the hub, then turn the hub back on, let it fully reboot and then turn on the main 360 box and then the mini box if that is what your upstairs box is.

    Hi doctor237,

    you posted on a thread in the tvgo forum relating to issues using the tvgo app.

    The problem you are trying to describe though appears to be to do with seeing an onscreen message  informing you that have you have too many devices connected when you are using your upstairs VM set top box to watch recordings.

    Please can you either provide a  screenshot of the error and message, or the full error message including the error code such as CS2400 or CS9993 etc.
