CS2214

I have exactly the same problem, error CS2214, cant record anything or play any previous recordings, what do I do to resolve this?

  • If you can't pause and rewind live TV then the box has a hard drive problem and will need replacing.

    You could try a factory reset of the 360. There are 2 options for the factory reset, you can select the keep recordings option which just resets the box but you will have to sign into your apps such as iPlayer, Prime, Netflix and ITVX again, also Match frame rate and Standby power consumption will go back to their default settings if you have changed them.

    If the box is faulty all recordings might disappear from the recordings list.

    You can call Virgin on 150 on a Virgin phone or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone or wait for one of the forum team to respond which might be 2 to 3 days.
