Coaxial wall to splitter 10 cable

We've recently received a new router and 360 TV box - all working well but the long HDMI cable we were using with our old Virgin setup to connect the TV box to our projector seems to be causing an intermittent dropping-out problem with the TV, now solved by having the TV box balanced on a box on the back of the sofa allowing us to use the short HDMI that came with the new 360 box, but this isn't a permanent solution!

I gather that moving the router and TV box to the projector with a coax extension will be better than trying a new long HDMI cable. I've seen from other posts on this forum that Virgin will send an engineer to do this for £25, or can send a free extension cable - I'd rather go for the second option if this is true - I'll need a 10m coaxial cable from wall to splitter. I've tried to find a way to order one through virginmedia.com/help but can't work out how to...

VM will send out a 10 metre cable, but there is no guarantee it will work with your individual setup. Adding more coax reduces your signal levels, which if they are already borderline due to other factors will result in pixelisation & possibly loss of channels on the TV & degraded internet connection. The only way to correct this is a chargeable visit to make the necessary adjustments in the street cabinet outside. Extensions have to be ordered over the phone.
