Channel Glitch Issues

Hello,

I'm having issues on certain channels, the picture is glitching every so often.

I had this issue a while back and it's came back again.

The main channels in question are Sky Sports PL, Sky Sports Football and Comedy Central.

Thanks

Pixellated pictures on live TV are often the sign of a signal fault. If you've rebooted your box once, then there's likely a fault somewhere, so this will need VM to intervene. You're likely to need either an engineer visit or a replacement box, depending on what VM's remote diagnostics turn up.

Sky Sports PL-HD & Sky Sports Football-HD share a broadcast frequency, along with More4-HD & Sky Documentaries HD.

First check the automated faults line for any existing issues in your area that could be the cause: 0800 5610061. If nothing's reported, assume VM don't know about your fault and ideally you'll need to call them.

150 from a VM phone, 0345 4541111 from any other phone - choose the options for "I have a fault with my TV service". Alternatively you can wait on here for staff to respond, which may take a day or so.

  • Hey rh1878, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear this.

Are you watching the games on catch up or in live time?

How long has also this been happening for?

      Hello

I have been watching the games on Live and it's been happening for a good few weeks now.

      Thanks

Hi rh1878, thank you for your response.

Are you experiencing issues with just Standard Definition channels or High Definition channels too?

If both, have you tried entering the settings menu and ensuring the picture resolution is set to "Automatic"?

Please pop back to us at your earliest convenience.

        Regards,
        Daniel

When you say "it just happens on my main box", presumably you have multiple boxes.

Try swapping the 2 boxes around - does the problem follow the box move, or remain with the internal cabling?

  • Hello,

The above same issue is happening again, can it please be looked at.

    Thanks
