Can't delete certain recordings on 360 box

This is the second time this has happened I can't delete certain recordings, when you try it seems to go through the motions but doesn't remove from list if try again it says can't do that try later, have done usual reboot, try from app (same), not sure if factory reset wipes out all my recordings so have not tried that as yet. Is this a server problem or faulty box?
