Can’t read the menu

Just upgraded to TV 360 after 3 attempts.
I can hardly read the menu bar on the Home Screen - they’re using a grey font which is hopeless.  It’s the same when you select a programme on the guide screen for more information, but the menu is so hard to see.

It’s convenient to be able to switch off the TV at night using the new remote, but when I switch it on again, I have to use the TV remote to select the Virgin 360 box.

not sure it’s progress.

  • You have a modern TV with Filmmaker mode - use it. This mode disables unnecessary processing, like motion smoothing and excessive sharpening, so you get the most realistic picture quality.

Filmmaker mode work's best in a dark room, I guess you could say sitting in a cinema or similar environment, it does get rid of all the picture processing and you can also tweak the settings if you want to.

  • What TV do you have, as already advised the font should be white.

Do you have one power set to on in Settings on the 360 box and are using the red power on/off button on the 360 remote. You also need the HDMI control setting on your TV set to on.

I have an  LG OLED55C46LA 4K OLED  Smart TV

The one power is now set to on in Settings on the 360 box, but still no differnce.

You could try using one of the many gray scale videos on YouTube to adjust your TV's standard picture settings to something you like if the standard settings don't look correct.

Have you checked the setings on your TV set for brightness and contrast etc?  I have recently had an upgrade to TV360 as well as a 360 mini. Both show the fonts as a bright white on the Guide screen.

TV 360 is connected to Samsung UHD TV, 360 mini is connected to an old 19" Toshibi HD TV, both have nice clear fonts
