Is it possible to get buy cable to go from the Virgin box to the router, and a Coax from the router to the TV box, or do I have to get it changed by Virgin?
I want to shift things around, and I need longer cables that Virgin supplied.
You can get 3, 5 & 10 metre coaxial extensions from VM, but be aware that if your signal levels are affected by installing any of these it will result in a chargeable callout to fix the problem.
Ethernet cables are your problem as the house internet distribution beyond the hub is not VMs responsibility.
Also as well as above, you could pay a not unreasonable £25 for a VM tech to visit and move your kit for you. They will also check the power levels etc as part of the move.
