BBC catch up prompting for verification

I’ve had this issue on and off since Christmas time. I’ve tried a restart of the 360 box and also the router several times which might fix it for a week and then it does it again. I’ve also tried a factory reset on the 360box to no avail. I don’t seem to be having any broadband issues at all but have had similar problems with the ITV and C4 catch up but not as often. 
Can anyone suggest how I can get this fixed as it’s driving me crazy and given the recent price increases I’m tempted to get rid of the whole thing and just go back to a simple broadband connection.

  • Already sorted thanks. Spoke to support and 360 box is broken. New one in the post 👍

      Regarding your original post if the 360 is set to fast start or active start and not switched off at the plug then there shouldn't be a problem, did you only switch to 360 around Christmas.

      It could be a sign of a failing box did you update to 360 or join as a new customer.

        Sorry to hear of your concerns with accessing catch-up on BBC and ITVX. 

        Just to confirm, this happens when accessing the streaming apps?  Are you able to provide an image of what's showing on the screen?
