Every now and again, when I open the Apple TV app it just goes on to a continous trailer loop which I can't get out of. Not sure whether this is a Virgin problem or an Apple problem. Either way it is pretty annoying.
How do I fix this?
Have you tried pressing the Home button a couple of times on the 360 remote to exit the app, or the back button on the remote?

Thanks. Unfortunately that just takes me out of the Apple TV app and not to the menu of programmes, which is what I'm after.

Sorry to hear of the Apple TV issues experienced via your 360 box, we appreciate you taking the time to raise this via the forums.
This is from the previous thread and a possible solution:
When Apple TV launches straight into show trailers there should be an option on the top left hand of your screen to press 'back' to get to the main menu during the trailers, and once you press that you can get out of the series of trailers. Once this is done, you should be able to interrupt the trailers on subsequent app opens using the down button.
When you do this, does it take you out of the Apple TV service completely?
It's interesting, looking at other people's comments on this forum, that this is clearly a problem which has been going in for months for many many people and yet Virgin have done nothing to sort it out.
