I am in the same boat this 360 is totally crap..if they can send a message to my tivo box to install it surely they can send another message reversing this action..i am forced to cancel my sub just to get rid of after 10 years of being a loyal customet
I spent a few hours today getting blatantly lied to speaking to a VM operator i was told she sent some signal to my box and i needed to turn box off at wall and once restarted it will turn the software back to original...guess what LIES. I then got a email saying the 360 crap was turned off and Vito software was now being used on my box MORE LIES...snce VM changed my services without fully explainging what would happen i feel they brke my contract with them andshould be terminated ASAP..they want over £200 for the privilege of doing so...there just lying buggers
For gods sake DO NOT DOWNGRADE TO 360 it's the pants

The firmware change cannot be reversed remotely. The only way to go back to TiVO firmware is to have the box replaced with one pre-loaded with TiVO. TV services will have to then be re-provisioned on your account with the replacement box or as soon as you boot up it will convert again. If you migrated voluntarily you are unlikely to find any route back. V360 Horizon is Liberty Global’s TV platform, & as they now own VM they want to phase TiVO out. The other issue working against retaining TiVO is VM migrating to an IP based TV platform & away from the older broadcast technology that drives TiVO.
