360 query

Hi any advice been away for 3 days when I got back switched the tv on with the button top left on the remote.there was no picture.had to press the red button top right on the 360 remote not a problem as such it just causes my hive hub to shut down as well till everything is up and running again which means I cant remotely change the heating settings on my phone due to the hive hub being offline.never had this problem with the old tivo box and router the 360 is set to active start and standby timer set to 24 hours but noticed the one power on the systems is set to off would this have anything to do with it any suggestions thanks

The 360 box has no physical or network connection that would allow it to control the power status of the Hive Hub. This hub is connected to VM's hub (Ethernet cable is best as always) and the VM hub should always be kept running.

  • Thanks it is connected by ethernet cable.but still seems to shut the hive hub down and tv as well only happens when I have been away done it twice now for some reason everything is left plugged in when I go away

  • I wouldn't have thought turning the TV and 360 box on and off would affect your hive hub, ( not having one I don't know how you would have it configured ).

The top left white power button only turns your TV on, the red button on the right turns on both the TV and 360 if you have the one power set to on.

Hey upthekingdom, thank you for reaching out and we are sorry to hear about your 360 issues.

We can confirm this would not affect your Hive box.

Is everything working okay on the 360 box, for example live TV ect?
