360 box

I am supposed to be able to switch my VB on via my iPad so I can watch programmes I’ve recorded in another but I can’t. I just get message saying I’m not on the same home network. I’m now in the same room and get same message. I have to turn box on with remote or box and then I can watch in my iPad?

  • If you are on the same wi-fi network okay, then check that the 360 is on fast or active start and not on eco start (system - standby power consumption settings)

        Hi Shamick59, 

        Thanks for coming back to us about this, please make sure your box is set up correctly below - 

        • Make sure your iPad is on the same WIFI network as your Virgin Media box. 
        • Make sure your box is set up Fast/Active Start and not Evo Start.
        • Reinstall the TV Control App on your iPad to make sure the app is working correctly.
        • Delete cache and cookies within the app.
