Unable to sign into email

I'm having a problem with my virginmedia.com email address. The email quick link on myvirginmedia comes up with the message 'your virgin media mail account is currently unavailable' and also the mail.virginmedia webpage doesn't seem to exist anymore? I can access emails on my phone but think I need to generate a new email app password to access my email on another device, but I don't seem to have the option to do this in myvirginmedia. Have been going round in circles with virgin customer support, they keep promising to get back to me but never do. Help please!

    Sorry to hear of the issues experienced on the E-Mail account.

    Can you please confirm if you've been able to attempt an alternative browser, or clearing cache on the browser you're using to see if this allows you access to the E-Mail account?

    When accessing the E-Mail account on your phone, are you able to successfully send and receive E-Mails?

      hello, yes I've tried different browsers with no success and the emails work fine on my phone

        Hi robmoore66,

        Thank you for your response. 

        Please follow the below to generate a new app password. 

        Sign in to My Virgin Media
        Go to Account settings, then Account details
        Tap Manage next to Manage your Virgin Media Mail app password under Virgin Media Mail
        Then, under Virgin Media Mail app password tap Get password
        Continue the flow and a new secure password will be generated, and the mailbox unlocked
        Update any third-party apps that may be use to access your Virgin Media Mail emails with this new app password.
