TV Go unable to sign in

I’m using an iPad Pro latest iPadOS 18.5. All I get when I try to sign is a screen "My Virgin Media Sign in …… cancel" the rest of the screen is blank and the only thing you can do is "cancel" which takes you back to sign in again. I am currently signed in and using "TV Control" successfully.

newapollo  Nothing whatsoever! I hadn’t tried it for about 3 days and when I did it just worked. Just tried again and still working.

  • Thanks for joining me on PM Tudor.

Just to update the thread, this is now fixed, it just started working again so all good :).

    Settling in

Still gives only the blank screen

  • I have been having no luck signing in to the skysports app on the 2nd of my 2 android tablets. ( posted about this on another thread in this tvgo subforum).  In desparation i uninstalled my skysports, myvirgin and tvgo apps in an effort to start again clear of any old data, logins, passwords etc.

I reinstalled the tvgo app and tried to sign in.  Exactly the same issue as mentioned happened.  Clicking the signin button just gave a blank screen with the only option being to cancel. ( same as firsedge and cleg described).

I am wondering what to try next.....other than to keep trying and hope that one day it will magically work???!!!!???

      Dialled in

As well as the blank signin screens on tvgo and skysports apps....the login on myvirgin app fails in a slightly different way.  The first page loads and i can click through settings/ broadband/virgin media settings. This then shows the virgin(sidways infinity)symbol with the words nearly there/ not long now etc......the symbol then just sits there for minutes and minutes, never getting past that stage.

I have tried every combination of deleting data and cache on the 3 apps, uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted etc etc.  but still no joy with any of them.  What baffles me is that i know i have a working new virginO2 login.  All 3 apps work just fine on my android phone and android tablet no1.  Its just that tablet no2 wont play ball at all!!

I am tempted  but reluctant to do a full factory refresh of no2 tablet, reinstall the 3 apps.....and surely(!) login with my VirginO2 login should work then????
