Changing My Virgin email address

I am trying to change my parents Virgin Media account email address back to my fathers e-mail address after having to reset my mothers ntl email address. However, it keeps saying:  'You've recently requested to change the email address you use to sign in to My Virgin Media. Please check your emails and verify this change before making further account changes.'

    I am so sorry to hear that you are facing this issue, to clarify, is the username you are trying to change to a previously used email, or a virgin media email?
