Tivo box no longer supports Netflix

Getting very, very frustrated.

I just need someone to swap my box for a v6 as mine no longer supports netflix.

I don't know who can help me. I can't seem to get hold of anyone that will give me a straight answer. It's driving me insane

Yes, if you have an existing Tivo, you should be able to get a V6 replacement.  However, AFAIK VM have to pay a licence for the Tivo software, so are more likely to push you towards the 360 Horizon platform as this is a VM licence.   Note the change from Tivo to Horizon is non reversable, so think do read up on the cons and pros of this change.

If you wait here a day or two a VM Mod should pick this up and discuss with you.

  • Thanks for the reply, I can't seem to find a way of sorting this so hopefully someone will get back to me soon.

TiVo's are fault-replaced with V6 as a matter of course. Does your TiVo have any service faults with it?

  • No, I don't  think so. Everything is fine apart from Netflix. It's giving me a nw-4-7 code

      Hi Cherrill1

      Welcome to the Community Forums.

Sorry to hear of the issues you've had with accessing Netflix on your TIVO. As the community has advised, the old TIVO set-top box no longer supports Netflix. Netflix removed their app from legacy devices, including our VM TiVo box on 07/11/2024. This means Netflix is no longer compatible with your current box(s). The good news is we can look to upgrade your current box to TV360 free of charge.

The OP specifically asked at the start of this thread for a V6. Migrating to a TV360 is a very different proposition.

  • I've asked for that privately. They say they they no longer do a v6

It's certainly VM policy to actively encourage migrations to TV360.

Both TiVo's & V6 are fault-replaced with V6, so they do continue to stock them.

I just wondering how I get one if they say they don't have one
