Red button sky sport
Hi,
My red button on all sky sports channels does not work. Anybody know how to fix this? Specifically on the new tennis channel?
Just continually get no interactive events despite them being on.

TiVo boxes support multiscreen on (IIRC) golf, cricket & F1.
The new tennis & football facilities are only available on TV360 boxes. These run completely different software to, and are fundamentally not, TiVo.

Is this official? Have Virgin confirmed that the V6 will not carry the extra streams?
Not interested in the interactive content, but the extra streams for the tennis and next seasons EFL football are must haves.

This is fundamentally a Sky decision not to constantly try to tweak older technology to distribute the increasing additional content. The new streams are now available in HD, which cannot be carried on the older boxes without a complete overhaul of the TiVO app. Sky have already paid out to overhaul the Horizon box app. The same is true of their own customers boxes.

Has the red button ever worked for you before hand?
I can confirm that the red button does work for Sky Sports Tennis on my 360. If you have a TiVo without broadband this could be a big upgrade.
I also have the same problem, sky sports tennis, main event (maybe more channels) shows the option to press the red button. But when pressing it, it says no interactive events in this channels. I am also using a TIVO box and have the sky sports package (not HD)
Hi Sabrina, ok thanks for that. So what is the solution to this problem? Sky sports tennis constantly advertises the red button option to me but it doesn't work. Do i get a free change of box? Free change to 360? Thanks
