VoIP phone continually cuts out

Our phone is connected to the hub and EVERY single time we use it, the line cuts out at 8 minutes 45 seconds.

Every . Single . Time.

customer service was next to useless. No solution forthcoming.

Anyone else had this problem or similar?

Is this a cordless handset that cuts out after a similar length of call ?
If Yes, it may be time to replace the rechargeable batteries.

Confirm your battery assumption by making calls using a non - cordless telephone.

When the phone switchover programme was at its peak, we used to see regular topics complaining about this cut-off problem after a fixed time on a hub-connected line.

Another common complaint was one-way communication (where one party on the line could not be heard).

When I had a landline, I used to keep a super-simple corded phone as a standby for testing purposes when any faults appeared on the line. Something like

This could help distinguish between phone problems and line problems.
