TV and Dead Phone

What is wrong with Virgin Media.  Phoned today from mobile because landline is dead, about landline and that the TV kit having broadband connection issues and all they wanted to do is for me to take out a new contract for £64 then because is said NO for £62, neither of my problems have been sorted out and cannot by the looks of it get it sorted online as the bot says does not understand.  Been with them for that long think it might be get rid and find someone else to go with.  Any others having problems????

    Have sent a reply to your private message.     Managed to finally get it sorted through web chat though took nearly 30 min wait, but bottom line engineer coming out to have a look at tv box and landline.  So wait and see what happens then.
