Transfer BT landline to Virgin

Hi, I have a BT landline and a VM landline (both operational). The VM number forwards to my mobile and I don’t use it otherwise. I now wish to transfer the BT landline number to the VM landline, to replace the VM number. I will then close BT account. Please can VM assist?
