Removing landline from my account/bundle

Hello.

My account/bundle is due for renewal soon.  I don't really need my landline anymore, (only 2 people phone me on that number !).  So, I want to remove the landline from my account/bundle in order to save a bit of money.

I've been told that if I do this, the landline will still partially work and be able to ring and accept incoming calls, (without any fees), but I'd be unable to make outgoing calls.   Is this true ?

If it is true then I'd be happy with this.

Also.....would it negatively affect my new bundle negotiation ?   (I currently have a TV, broadband and landline bundle).

Sounds like offshore customer services making up responses again. If you remove your landline from a bundle it will probably cost you more than with it and probably you will get a new contract. It’s the way VM bundles work.

There are many posts here on this.

They won't let you remove the phone from your current bundle. When you come to negotiate your contract renewal you can ask for the phone to be removed, but don't expect it to make much difference to the price.
