Number withheld request

We have a home phone nbr with Virgin and all I want is the home phone nbr to be witheld / masked when I make a phone call. Twice I have been on that not fit for purpose whatsapp chat to request this and twice I have been told this has been done. Guess what? No it has not been done why am I not surprised. Virgin are a shambles can't even do a simple request and the phone still shows the number.
