Non Ringing Phones Via PBX

Got an intermittent problem with my phones since the landline change over.  When the phones at home receive an incoming call via our Panasonic 308 PABX sometimes they ring fine on other occasions however the phones only ring once.  Tried adding a master socket to the incoming cable to the PABX but that made the phones not ring at all.  Any ideas of a way to solve this issue as the PABX worked fine before the change over.

Replace the PABX with a standard telephone connected via the VM Hub TEL1 RJ11 socket.
Discover if the ringing signal from the VM Hub is working properly for all calls.

Most current phone equipment is 2 wire and does not need a Master Socket's 3 wire ring capacitor system.
Perhaps a fault or wiring issue in the Master socket, it should not have stopped the system from working.
