Landline ringer not working

Our landline phones stopped ringing a couple of weeks ago. When testing the line from our mobiles, the caller can hear it ringing and we can see the caller’s number displayed on our main handset (we have three handsets altogether in the house, all corded).

We get a dial tone and can make outgoing calls. The phone volume is not turned down. Service status shows `no known issues’ in our area. We’ve never had a problem with this before in some 15 years of having a Virgin landline.

PS I know there have been previous threads on this topic but I'm hoping for some help  from Virgin and didn't want this request to go unnoticed.

      Hi Akua,

Thanks for your quick reply, much appreciated.

We've tried all our handsets on the phone line from the main socket and none of them rings so we're as sure as we can be that this is a landline issue.

Do let me know if you need any further information.
