Landline not working since area powercut.

The green cabinet has failed to recover correctly since an area powercut and our landline is not working, no dial tone, if call the number it's busy.

The same problem happens each and every time the green cabinet suffers a power loss, service status shows ok, so unable to book an engineer.

  • The reason I do not get the option to book an engineer is because your checker does not find any issues, it also states there are no issues in the area, which is another LIE!!!

      We will send you a DM to take a look into this to see if there is an outage or not.

      We can also check on what the agent has already done for you. 

  • You do not appear to understand the frustration involved here.

    I have had the same problem for almost 14 years and heard the same VM lies for the same amount of time.

    Your service checker does not find any issue so I cannot book an engineer online.

    Your online chat does not support landline telephone issues I need to call you which results in a chargeable call while some Indian is clicking buttons and telling me everything is ok.

      Is the phone line currently still down?

      The reason you are not getting an option to book an engineer is because if its an outage we do send out engineers for this.

      We understand the frustration caused here.

      Please confirm if the phone line is still down and if the agent did support or not?

  • I understand you have no control over powercuts, but you do have control of your equipment in the green cabinet and how it recovers after a powercut.

    You also have control of your online service checkers and how they say everything is working when it's NOT.

    anymore excuses you want to try fob me off with?

      Did the agent you spoke to before help you at all?

      We can see there was some progress on this, we have no excuses however if there is an outage we would need to wait for the Network team to fix this sorry.

  • Guess what, area powercut last night around 21:00 and the landline has not recovered again.

    Last time I was promised the issue would be thoroughly investigated and I would not see this issue again, sounds wonderful but just buzz words.

    Server status shows ok, checks run shows ok, but it's not ok.

    What about this wonderful monitoring system which fixes problems before I notice?  Guess what I have f**king noticed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
