Sorry to hear that your landline has been damaged due to external works carried out by Northern Powergrid.
Were they aware that they had damaged the cable and caused you service issues? If so, they should've already informed us so we can take action to resolve this.
If you're in contract, cancelling the landline would incur early disconnection fees. If you're not in contract, then you can take a look at package deals that do not include a landline service however, this may not work out cheaper due to available discounts when you've all 3 services.
