Keeping landline number when moving to Virgin

I am due to transfer from TalkTalk ADSL broadband to Virgin FTTC broadband on 20th Jan 2025.

My landline number is currently registered to BT.

I understand I need to plug my landline phone into the to be supplied Virgin router.

How do I ensure that I can use the existing landline number with Virgin?

    Yes, that's correct, you'll need to plug your landline phone into your router.

    In order to ensure you can use the existing landline number with ourselves, we'd suggest contacting our pre-installation team on 0800 052 1734.

      I gave up after being in the call queue for 15 minutes.

      Is there an e-mail contact address?

        Unfortunately, there isn't a contact e-mail address for the pre-installation team.

        Whenever you have a bit more time to spare, we'd suggest calling them again.
