Home phone switch over to fibrephone

I will be away on the date allocated for switchover.  I have received the adaptor.  If I plug it in before I go away will the change over will take place automatically on the date allocated?

    Welcome to our forums, and thank you for your first post. The switch should take place automatically, as seen here. You should be able to plug it in (in advance). Please let us know if you need any further help and we will be happy to assist.
