Home phone and router

I assumed when I changed back to virgin media that I would just be able to plug the home phone into the router and that it would work that way. However the phone will not plug into the router so currently no home phone line. Please could someone tell me what I need to do to rectify this

    Is a VM landline included as part of your VM package?

    VM's landlines are now provided from the TEL1 socket on the back of the VM hub. You need an adapter from VM to be able to plug in a normal domestic telephone.

    Just to clarify, have you received documentation confirming that a landline is included within your package?

  • It’s now plugged in but am still awaiting the porting of my old number. Does anyone know how long this should take

      Hey Val70, thank you for reaching out and a telephone port can take anywhere between 10 - 14 working days to go through.

      But importantly, and it isn’t clear from your earlier posts, are you actually paying for a VM landline, forget whether it’s through the hub or not, is a telephone line included in your contract?
