Existing landline number not transferred.
I joined VM some 12-14 days ago and find I have not been receiving incoming calls on my VM landline although I could dial out. I have now discovered that it appears I have been given a completely new random number but no-one thought it appropriate to inform me of this.
Is this a temporary measure until my BT number is transfered? In the meantime I have had to email all of my contacts (business and personal) of the new number.
How can I check if the porting of my old number will ACTUALLY take place.
