Ex Directory request

Hi there, I have been on the phone to Virgin Media - the agent I spoke to did not know what "ex directory" meant (!) and then went away to check.    I was advised to go to my virgin media account and select telephone settings and check the box for ex-directory listing but there is no "telephone settings" option that I can find.  Can you advise how to make my landline ex directory? thank you.

    Yes because that option just doesn't exist, you were lied to, absolutely lied to, just to get you off the phone and allow the agent to chalk up a ‘successfully closed call’.

    Other than the fact that you were outright lied to, something you might want to bear in mind when the time comes to renew your contract with VM, I believe that you have to wait for a member if the forum team to get to this thread and offer to contact you by a first message and sort it out for you.
