If you have an existing telephone socket next to the hub, which is joined to the other telephone sockets in your home, the VM tech should be able to link your internal telephone sockets to the hub's telephone socket using an adapter cable as below
This back-feeds the phone line from the hub into the existing telephone wiring meaning the sockets should then work in conjunction with the phone line from the VM hub. The old incoming phone line from the street should be disconnected from your telephone sockets. You should not need to relocate phones or the hub if this can be done.
Unfortunately success (or not) may depend on the VM tech who turns up. Some seem to know how to do this, others do not have a clue what to do based on past reports on here.
