Can I request switchover to 21CV?

I already have a compatible Hub for the new voice service, but am currently on the old copper network that dates from the 1990s. Is it possible to request that the phone service be changed over to the newer 21CV? Or do I have to wait until our area is switching off the old copper network before it can be activated?

    Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome back, we understand you are still using the original phone socket and want to know if you can get it updated to our 21CV, unless you are experiencing a fault with the Phoneline you will receive a notification once we are going to switch you over, this will be followed with the arrival of an adaptor to plug into your Router to plug your phone into, if you are unable to due to the phone being away from the Router we would then arrange an engineer to do this for you, you can find out more here

    It’s no different to your present setup, the only difference is the cable. Instead of a separate set of wires the signal is carried on the same coax cable as broadband/TV. It is not VoIP.
