Caller ID time

My home phone is set to get the time from Caller ID.

I've just noticed that it's an hour in advance where as it was correct at some point previously. Could it be it's based off a US clock zone and the clock's going forward over there has impacted it?

How can this be checked/validated?

  • Oh, just seen a related post from two years ago saying the same. Seems it's a known issue.

Why is it not being fixed? It's going to be a very simple config change somewhere!

Have you checked on the settings for daylight savings and set to GMT?

By posting an update it doesn't mean I won't keep in touch with the team.

Are you suggesting you'd prefer me not to post anything in public? If so, why? I was just putting an update up for anyone who may be searching for similar.

Resolved might mean asking on Monday if the problem still exists !
