Call Divert Charge

Hi All,

I would be grateful for any clarity on my issue please.

i have Call Divert set up on my landline. All these calls come through to my mobile phone.

Is there a charge for using this feature?

I only ask, as I had my bill through last week & I have been charged £48 for call charges? Is this because of the call divert feature?

I don’t use my landline to make any outgoing calls?

Have called virgin themselves and they have not been very helpful or explained.

    Thanks for your first post and welcome to our community.

    Sorry you haven't been able to get a clear answer on your call divert charges.

    I will try and explain it as easily a possible without going around the houses.

    Call Divert will charge your account as the call to your landline is then being diverted to your mobile.

    The Landline will call your Mobile and you will be charged what the going rate for mobile calls depending on what landlaine package you're on.

    For example, Weekend Chatter is 24p a minute to a movie number with no connection fee.

    We do have a package called Anytime Chatter, which gives free calls for up to 60 minutes to mobile numbers.

  • Wish I was explained all of this information before I agreed to the call divert feature.
    I knew I would be charge £2.25 for this feature a month, but not informed of incoming call charges.

      I'm sorry this wasn't explained when you added Call Divert.

      Would you like me to have a look at your account to make sure you're on the best package for your landline?
