Virgin Go, what's the point if I cannot watch my watchlist

I have recently had Virgin installed and was told that Virgin Go was the same as sky go and you could watch programs saved to the watchlist on my PC, but I can only watch live broadcasts.

Why can I  choose to send the Video to watch on a stream box in another room in the house but not on my PC, where I am sitting.

Virgin TV Go allows streaming of live channels and On Demand content outside your home, but recorded programmes can only be watched when both your device and box are connected to your home network and the box is on.

Thank you for your reply but I am afraid that this is not relevant since I have the Virgin Media Stream box.

This allows you to add programs to a Watch List so that you can easily find them but does not actually record anything as the Stream Box does not have the ability to record.

Since these boxes are streaming devices only, it would have made sense to allow Virgin Go on a PC to actually stream the same Watch List items on the PC which is in another room to the stream box.

It just baffles me why they do not allow this.

Thanks for coming back to us Bling, we'll be sure to pass on your feedback to the concerned teams as you're not able to stream from your Watch List as this isn't possible at the moment.

        Kind Regards,

  • Thanks for reaching out to us Bling, and a very warm welcome to you!

Sorry to hear of the difficulty faced when trying to watch recordings from you set top box on a third party device.

You may find the downloading of the Virgin Media Remote Control App is useful for this feature - this will also help you schedule and delete recordings when connected to the same Wi-F network as the set top box.

    Thanks,

Thank you for your reply but I am afraid that this is not relevant since I have the Virgin Media Stream box. Please also see my reply to Roger.

Since I am using a PC and not an android device, the Virgin Media Remote Control is of no use to me.
