Virgin Go no longer letting me watch live TV

Hi,

The app will no longer let me watch live TV on any of my registered devices. I have spoken to the virgin tech team at length and they could not find a solution. The error message reads 'Oops something went wrong. Please try again later' 

 

Any help or advice would be really appreciated

    Thanks for your post, welcome to the Community Forums.

    I'm sorry to hear you're having issues accessing TV Go. Can you please let us know which devices you've attempted to use the app on (make and model of the devices, along with the OS version if possible).

    If you've been able to use TV Go without issues previously, do you know when this issue first started? Are you tried accessing TV Go on both WiFi and mobile data?

    Thanks so much for your reply. I am trying to use the app on a Samsung Galaxy A53 5G, model SM-A5369, Android version 14 & a HP Laptop 15s-fq1xxx with Windows 11, Version 24H2, OS build 26100.3476

    I think the issue may have coincided with having a new Tivo box delivered as the old one was faulty - this was about a month ago. I have tried accessing the app on both wifi and mobile data.

      Can you confirm which content it isn't allowing you to watch, some is restricted due to licensing and copyright issues to help prevent infringements.

        It isn't letting me watch any live TV, other content all appears available. When I select the live TV option it just says 

        'Oops something went wrong. Please try again later' 

         

  • Revision to previous reply - although other content than live TV is shown on the app having checked it appears it won't allow me to watch that either.
