I have got subtitles on live broadcasts on the sky app.
I go in via virgin go click the programme I want then subtitles come up very large.
I have gone on to the more tab which takes me to account & settings but there is no accessibility tab for me to see if subs are on.
Can anyone tell me how I turn of the subtitles on live broadcasts

Which Sky app are you referring to? The only Sky app that works with VM is Sky Sports and that doesn't have subtitles available.
It's very possible that the device you are using such as as a mobile or tablet has Closed Captions turned On and that is why you are seeing sub-titling.
If you have an ios device then try going to Settings > Accessibility> Subtitles and captioning > turn of 'Closed Captions and SDH'
It varies on android devices, sometimes closed captions are shown in the device shortcuts, sometimes you need to go to Settings > Accessibility to turn off the captions
Yes the sky sports is what I'm using. It only happens on live broadcasts I will try what you have suggested. Will let you know if successful
