Sky Sports Virgin Go on Browser

Hi there

Yesterday I logged in to Sky Sports via Virgin on Microsoft Edge Browser with no issue to watch the golf. Today I have tried to do the exact same thing but it is asking me to download the Desktop Player which I cannot do as this is a work laptop an I do not have administrator rights. 

Can anyone tell me why it might have worked yesterday and does not today? Is there anything that I can do to resolve?

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having some trouble watching certain content via TV Go on a browser. Is this ongoing today? If so, have you tried a different browser if that's at all possible?

      There is definitely an issue as tried to log into Sky Sports to watch F1 and it won't let me.  I regularly view on my computer so don't understand what the problem is

        We're sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing 😔

        What's happening exactly when you try to log in? Are you being asked to download the Desktop Player too?

        Also, just to confirm, are you using Microsoft Edge? If so, have you tried using different browsers to see if it makes any difference at all?
