Sky sports on other devices

I have recently upgraded to Sky sports and movies on my virgin package. Until now I have been watch Sky Sports on other devices via Now TV.
Can I watch it on, say, a Roku Streambar without using Now TV? Or can I update my Now subscription with my virgin login or does it still have to be a separate subscription?
mid lije to watch sports in my hut but do I need subscriptions to both and especially the sports add on to NOW tv?

By having Sky Sports & Sky Cinema in your VM package, this enables two things.

1: Using the Virgin Media TV Go app, you can view Sky Cinema live channels & OnDemand content

2: Using the Sky Sports app, and choosing "login using Virgin Media UK", you can view Sky Sports channels.

NowTV is a separate platform and has no bearing on your VM service.

That’s the problem with virgin media. You are very restricted on how you can watch their service these days without the expense of an additional box and installation of new cables, especially as their wifi signal is still one of the poorest these days.

With streaming the way it is, many people want to watch in various locations. I personally have a shed at the bottom of my garden that I watch sports in. Yet I cannot watch sports on virgin without a complicated set up of laptop and screen share options.

Virgin once had the monopoly of internet speeds. That’s no longer the case. With so many new high speed full fibre services I can now finally leave a 20th century streaming service and cancel everything virgin. Contract ends in March, can’t wait!
