  • I'm having the same issue running the Virgin Media App on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. I registered the app, it worked fine then after closing the app and restarting, its asking me to register the device again! I now only have one activation left for this month having registered this tablet twice already this month. I would appreciate some help resolving this issue.

Thank you for popping back to us Coye and I am sorry to hear that you are also effected amratlal

Can I ask if you are clearing your cache and data after each use? Are you using an incognito browser at all?

Do either of you currently need your devices reset? We would be happy to take a look at resetting these for you if you need?

I've once again used up my changes for this month using the "Virgin TV Go" app on my mobile, Samsung Galaxy ZFold. The device was last registered as "samsung fold". I close the app and when restarting it, have to register it again and have used up the 3 changes for this month doing this. It would be great if you could help me get the thing to stay registered. Oddly enough it works fine on my Samsung tablet and my PC via the Firefox browser.

Ash , apologies for my rant its more of annoyance , one of your mods Gareth reset for me but we will have the issues over a couple of days were wee log on to tv on the go for me i use my computer and by the way its works a treat but it will come to a point were we have used our browser 5 or 6 times then it becomes a issue again surely there has to be a fix or and work around the only way to stop this registering same device over over over again is to leave the pc on 24/7 and leave the browser open and not to delete any history which is not good plus this happens when you use the app as well someone mention to use the duckduckgo browser as it does not ask all the time to register device but the person who suggested this does not say you can clear the browser and close it down the only way is to test it out but that may lead to someone to reset virgin tv go again

Are you clearing your cookies after using the browser version of the TV Go app?

      Kind Regards,

        Hi Steven

I have used the Duckduckgo browser , I logged in and out a few times to watch virgin tv go on my windows 10 desktop I did not clear the data and it was fine logging back in so after a few logins  still one device registered then so i tested the clear data option and when i went login it asked me to register the same device so if you dont clear data on this browser then its fine but then over time you will build up alot of data and browsing history which can slow down the computer and that is state of play with this browser and other browsers if you clear data and history it will ask to register device although you have already down that there must be a solution to save the data cookie  for virgin tv go but for a customer to find a solution it will come apparent that he or she will have to contact virgin for a reset  with logging in trying to find a solution , so after a few days i myself will be back to square one and i will need to ask for a reset !
