NOT ABLE TO WATCH SKY SPORTS ON TABLET

I am trying to watch the cricket but suddenly this morning there seems to be a new login screen saying "Sign in or register for Virgin Media O2". When I try to login I don't even get to a password screen I just get:

"You don't have permission to access "http://accounts.id.bskyb.com/sign-in/error?" on this server.

I am sick and fed up of so many things not working on Virgin Media.

I was watching on my tablet last night so why has it changed. I PAY FOR THIS SERVICE

  • At least there’s some acknowledgment that there’s a fault now. Looks like there will be no test cricket to be watched today 

  • Update from VM:

    'Absolutely! You're not the only impacted one Joanne, and this is launched today. The single sign on identity is launched only today and we're awaiting for work around from our team to get this fixed.

    It should be fixed before end of the day there can be some final changes need to be completed as it is only being launched today however, you should be able to login to your account before the end of the day'

    In response to my question re compensation/refund:

    'I'm afraid this does not come as impacted by charge as the online account is a value added service and it is not charged service. However, I'd request you to kindly get in touch when this is resolved and we can check for options on your account to compensation for the experience you had'

  • Was just going to post the same thing. Worked fine all weekend wanted to watch the last day of the test match on my breaks at work but have been logged out and looks like virginmedia o2 login services are down. 

  • Same - I’m stuck in a loop of trying to sign in on the sky sports app on both phone and tablet. I’ve updated the app on both devices and it’s still the same. 

    I’m also unable to sign in to the virgin TV Go app - so looks like VM are having problems with authentication across their platforms.
