I also have this problem. Only noticed it about 5 days ago.
Tried everything to rectify. (I’m using iPad Air 5th gen 2022).
Checked TV and no problems. Also checked TV settings but all ok.
IPad Accessibility switch’s for voice over and description of off - turned on and off to verify. The voice description is only happens on Film4 ‘Go’. I have opened up other apps and all working ok. Deleted Go app and reinstalled but problem remains.???.
Not sure if recent iOS 18.3.2 update has anything to do with this.
any advice please

Sorry to hear about the issue with audio description.
Do you have any other devices that are pre IOS update to test the App on?

same issue using that or wempage or app on pc / ipad but only on film 4
