I renewed my virgin media account last Thursday 25th September, ever since when I login on the sky sports app via the virgin login section, I log in and then click on watch and then choose to watch live football, it comes up with this box (see attached picture) and when I click 'got it' and when I try and click on to watch live football again, I get the same pop up box, so it doesn't allow me to watch live sky sports channels anymore. I have called Virgin media customer service numerous times and found it as helpful as a chocolate fireguard. Anyone else have this issue?

I have just this minute seen your post as I have also posted the same issue on here, I have spent days ringing them as well with the same issue, so it's not just me, it must be something they are doing in house at Virgin, I don't know what else to do also apart from leave virgin and go to sky, we have 14 days to cancel as I renewed last thursday.

I’ve been with VM 17 years and renewed my contract on the 1st October which included Sky Sports as it had done before. I had been able to log in and watch Sky Sport via the app before but since renewing I get the same message as everyone above. I can get it on my TV and my new contract shows that I have Sky Sports. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app on phone and tablet but to no avail. In a way I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s having this issue but I have until the 14th October to cancel my contract and will cancel unless this is fixed. Thanks to those above for raising this issue.

Some problem for me after renewing on Monday, not good enough from Virgin Media’. Had my reservations renewing tbh, it’ll be a call tomorrow to cancel and go elsewhere after 15 years!

I've been trying to get VM to sort this for over a week - nothing. They tell me to go to Account Settings -> Account Details and there is no Account details in Account Settings. Frustrating doesn't even come close to the incompetence and lack of knowledge.

I am also having the same issue, this is an absolute joke, I want to watch when I’m in another room but now can’t. I pay for this service and I’m not receiving it

I have also this week renewed my contract that includes sky sports and since then not been able to watch the channels on the sky sports app
I’ve called multiple times to which I am fobbed off like yesterday told this was an issue there end and would be fixed within a few hours of course this wasn’t the case.
Each time I have also called they have notes they say but I believe they don’t clearly understand stand as today when I was passed to someone else they were talking about not being able to watch sky sport on the tv which I never said such a thing. Going to use the 14 day cooling off and go else where
