Can’t log in to Virgin Go app on IPad

I’ve been trying for 3 days to log in to the Virgin ago app and am having no luck. 
every time I open the app I get the sign in page asking for the email address which I enter. Then it just comes up with ‘your passkey wasn’t verified’ but it never even asked me to enter my passkey!

then I’ve tried ‘sign in a different way’ and it tells me they’ve sent me an email to help with the login but the email never arrives!
tried this several times and no email - and still after 3 days none have arrived!

I’ve deleted the app, cleared iPads cache, downloaded the app again but the same thing happens every time!
I don’t know what else to try. 

I think this has only started since we upgraded our TiVo to 360 so it might be related ?

anyone got any suggestions?

    We're sorry you're unable to sign into TVGO at the moment.

    Have you created your Virgin Media O2 ID yet?

    If not, to set up your Virgin Media O2 ID, you’ll simply use your email address and then choose which authentication method you’d like to use to sign in (like a password or passkey). From there you’ll use this single set of credentials to sign in to any Virgin Media and O2 online spaces.

  • Exact same for me now. Was watching a few days ago and went to watch sky sports this morning and logged out. Passkey not verified and no option to verify. Received email and verified email. 10 seconds time out and takes me to google homepage. Everytime i get logged out of virgin now or sky sports, the hassle to log back in is shocking. This needs sorted virgin. The amount of people creating threads and others commenting with the same problem tells us there is still a problem.

      I'm now logged out of my virgin/02 to check my data usage and bills. Keeps putting me back to google homepage. Absolutely shocking from virgin. The hassle to sign back in is unbelievable. If you don't laugh, you'll cry.

        Are you getting any error codes or messages at all?

        Have you gone over the device limit?

        What exactly  happens when you try and log in?
