Apple TV 4k Box

I am trying to get my new system working through the Apple TV 4K box, I can download the Go app but it is not letting me view anything. I have the full fibre to house WAN connection and they will only let me have 4 Stream Boxes, we have 6 TV's in the House which we currently use SKY Q and multiroom boxes in, I am wanting to swap over to Virgin but dont want to have to move streaming boxes between TV's. We currently can only watch Sky on 4 TV's at a time but we do have boxes on all the 6 so we can just turn one off and another one on when we move rooms

Is anyone else having issues with using the Virgin Go app through their Apple TV 4K or can anyone confirm if there is an option to have more than 4 Streaming boxes through a single service to a house

  • I can play the standard channels through the app on the Apple TV box but no sports or movies, is this the standard

If you have a ky Sports subscription then you need to log in via the Sky Sports app using your VM credentials if that is available on an Apple 4K TV box.

The VM TVGo app on Apple TV+ is a stripped down version due to licensing agreements so it's possible that Sky Movies isn't available on that device, however the other movie channels may be available.

Hi boblymm thanks for posting although we're sorry to hear of your issues raised with your Apple TV 4k box.

As mentioned here, you'd need to log in via Sky Sports but the option for Virgin Media log in may not appear for you sadly if the equipment is incompatible.

Regarding our Stream boxes, it depends entirely on what service you are signing up to as it can differ depending on what you have, whether or not you can have up to 6.

If are an XGS-PON customer, you should be able to have up to 6 stream boxes but in order for this you must also be a subscriber to Mega TV through us.

      We do hope this helps.
